Hey everyone, ive been in help desk for nearly 2 years now. Starting at regular L1 help, currently doing more L2/Jr sys admin duties. I’ve been given a heads up by my boss that in a few months our security systems admin is leaving, and they want me to put in for the position when it opens up.
As it stands, i have my associates in cybersecurity, net+, sec+, and am studying for the CySA+. Is there anything else I can, or should be doing to give myself the best chance possible to make sure I get this when it opens up?
