I went to look up what phone to buy to try this and they only have a virtual devices, the hardware phones are listed as “community” projects. I hope they focus on a specific phone soon so I can get a device with main project support.
Nice to see. The original policy allowed for AI code submissions with half-dozen extra requirements attached (which is necessary when you allow something that may be garbage onto your platform):
- You fully understand how the code in your contribution works.
- Your change is accurately described in the commit message.
- Your contribution is tested and working as described.
- To the best of your knowledge, you are not introducing bugs, especially security bugs.
- You are not violating copyright (such as software licenses, creative commons or any other).
It’s much simpler to say “don’t”!
Honestly, if you are actually using AI to supplement and not just write all your code nobody would be able to tell anyways sooo that just makes the don’t policy even better lol
Not to mention much more ethical too!
