You can buy aluminum from us, Canada, as long as you’re not foolishly tariffing us.
Actually, they can do what they want tariff-wise. If there’s no other sources, they have to come to Canada. Tariffs are paid by the importer.
I do believe there is also the concept of export taxes, though its much rarer than tariffs and generally only used to avoid increases in price of a locally producted product due to high demands from countries which can pay much more for it.
