This is the right call. They’ve got a “harvest veggie burger” that’s primarily chickpeas and cheese so not appropriate for vegans and it’s pretty mid. Skip the cheese puck, go for the curds.

Planning on it lol. Was just mildly annoyed because I needed a product I have to order through their website anyway and I’ll probably need to get a month supply somewhere else to hold me over until I can get the membership and finally get it shipped.

I enjoyed watching my brother play the first two and was actually really interested in the plot but I’m hesitant to go back and play them myself because I’ve at least somewhat seen through people talking about it how they’ve dragged the series out (not to mention the microtransactions they somehow managed to shoehorn in) and I’m almost certain that the wild stuff they set up in the first two games never pays off.

I’m not sure it’s legal to call them candy cigarettes though - I’ve always seen them called something else. Yup, it’s illegal to call them cigarettes in the US, and they vary in legality elsewhere.

I only ever see them for sale in places that sell old fashioned candy, I think their decline has to do with the fact they just don’t taste very good (in addition to the changing cultural opinions about cigarettes, but I bet they’ve declined even in places where a large percentage of adults still smoke).

As someone who just tried to sign up for a Costco membership online and couldn’t get past the first page of registration, on multiple devices, Costco is kinda shit too, lol.

I’ve once made the mistake of stepping into an anime con game room on Sunday that gave out free samples of Axe body spray. You just end up with Axe + heinous body odor. I’m not sure it’s worse, but it’s not better.

My mom had a manager who didn’t have fingerprints. When the bank they worked at implemented fingerprint login on the computers it caused a few problems.

Teleroboxer was kinda cool too, I played it briefly on the 3ds but I didn’t really want to spend the time to get decent at it.

Sometimes I wonder what the prevalent response to AI would be if we lived in a better world? There are environmental and resource concerns, but I think if they weren’t desperately trying to shove it everywhere to make a profit I’m not sure those would be unmanageable.

Information still wants to be free, but the way corporations are actually using AI right now in our economic hellscape punches people much lower in the (Maslow’s) hierarchy of needs.
