Exactly. I have a daily, weekly and monthly backup that erases the previous version.

Non-resident aggressively commenting on another country’s driving laws then shit talking foreign policy out of nowhere. Bold strategy, Cotton.
The fact is that a video call implies that your eyes are on the video. In this case while driving. Do you see how that’s problematic? Your argument is some weird whataboutism.
The bridge is 4.3 miles. Average riding speed for a 30-35 year old rider is 20.8 mph according to Strava data. Let’s say its 15mph instead.
That’s a 28 minute ride at below average speed; 20 minutes at average.
That is not too long, as clearly evidenced by the people that use the bike lane.
If their time is so valuable, maybe they should ride a bike instead of trapping themselves in traffic?
The average American commute is 41 miles round trip. I guarantee you that a large number of people stuck on that bridge every day have a much shorter commute, could ride a bike instead, and would actually spend less of their time commuting by doing so.
Those are the people you should be angry with because they’re the ones that are directly wasting your time with their frivolous driving trips. The more we get people riding bikes, the less problems those that are required to drive will experience.
Also, maybe if the average American car wasn’t a wasteful hulking behemoth there would be more room for more people on the roads. 🤷
Which is funny because if your job requires you to touch those lids, it would be your fucking job.
This is just the work of lazy fucks or they’re truly dumb as a bag of rocks.
Linux is in no shape for a non tech literate person just to jump into.
The tech illiterate are not typically the ones complaining about Microsoft; they mostly have zero clue about what’s going on. Stop choosing perfection as the threshold for usability.
Times Square had massive Mullvad ads last time I was there.
Thorium had the furry porn. I use it for work as I need a Chromium browser for compatibility. Librewolf for everything else.
I’ve been on Linux for a year and a half now with zero downtime.
I have to use Discord Canary for that but yeah. Flatpak all the way.
1990’s Canada vibes.
You might be interested in giving Nobara Linux a try. It has a built in automated NVIDIA driver manager that you can run on first boot.
Yeah, depending on its age an NVIDIA GPU can be a non-starter. That said, I had a 2060 when I first transitioned to Linux last year and had no issues.
There are clowns in every community and they are typically the loudest ones. Sorry Linux didn’t work out for you this time around. Hardware variables are hard to account for which if I had to bet, hardware weirdness is likely to be the root of your issue.
Nobara Linux has a dedicated driver manager to automate the process of managing NVIDIA drivers. I ran a 2060 for almost a year on Nobara with no issues thanks to the manager. I’m on AMD now and forevermore.
Hell yeah! 🤜🤛
You used the driver manager to handle Nvidia drivers?
Nobara would fit your needs perfectly.
Nobara’s got you covered.
Ideally the advisory is going out over the radio too. People will hear it while driving and then spread by word of mouth.
