Linux was optimized to be used as a desktop OS?
The needed drivers should be provided by the kernel, so no.
…or any other distro really. I’ve been gaming on vanilla arch linux. It’s pretty stable and low maintenance once you’re done setting it up and don’t tinker much and have backups with something like Timeshift in place. archinstall script makes it really easy to install vanilla arch linux with everything essential configured.
KDE Plasma.
GNOME kind of looks nice but is too strict on customization.
The URL leads to a 404 page. You’re including the dot at the end in it.
As for your question, it has something to do with the PKGBUILD file. Edit it to fix the error and then build it locally with pacman.
If you are talking about wanting to maintain the AUR package, make an orphanage request and assign yourself as the maintainer.
Seems like the source code for the backend is not released yet
Arch linux official repos seem to have prebuilt binaries ready to install: https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/ardour/
All good.
Justifying url injections for money? Ads are one thing, but anyone that knew that their browser was “secretly” injecting stuff into the url would be creeped the hell out. I don’t see how this browser is private at all.
Did I ever talk about Mozilla? Who said Mozilla or stock Firefox was good? They’re ass. Mozilla is ass and stock firefox is worse than stock chrome. I wouldn’t use Librewolf if it wasn’t for the monopoly and ublock origin support. Not because Librewolf is bad but because I know that Firefox’s security sucks and Gecko is slow indeed, but now not even privacy focused chromium browsers are an option because of manifest v3, great. At this point, I am hoping for Ladybird to be something to look forward to, because even the alternative to chromium is shit.
Brave is not any better. It should be obvious for anyone enough to understand how shady brave devs are, when they:
If you look up what they have done in the past, you’ll know.
Brave is shady crypto infested spyware.
The whole idea of the fediverse is decentralization and federation. It is a good thing
Checked it out, thanks.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Thanks.
How intensive was it exactly?
