Lucky I never got bored with Quake 1, Redneck Rampage and Carmageddon 1. Oh, and the original Lotus game that fits on a floppy.

My home made 6kW battery would struggle to compensate I think, but I need to do some more sums to be sure.

Another thing to watch is that on Red’s plan above, peak exists every day, whereas on my current plan, the entire weekend is off peak. That’s a big non-obvious difference.

Also, I already have 5kW of solar panels, so on most days my three hours would already be free.

No they didn’t. You just need to download an app called qbittorrent, click the search tab, type the movie name then double click the one at the top with the highest number of ‘seeders’. Shortly thereafter the movie will be safely on your computer.

Yeah, but that’s only if you want to rip them on a PC isn’t it? Your domestic Blu-Ray player will presumably lose its keys eventually and become a brick.

Edit: Googled it, no known ‘time bomb’ but players can potentially miss out on firmware updates and be unable to play some discs as a result.

Will they eventually kill off the encryption keys for your blu-ray discs? I don’t know for sure, but I think there was some kind of online handshake required by these players.

On my phone I often have to delete the app data so it will load anonymous rather then just hang at getting ready.

Then there’s the whole work vs personal account stuff, and sending you a six digit 2FA but asking for seven digits.

Now I run a Jitsi server on a VPS so I know it’ll just work for our needs.

I used to dry my shoes in the microwave as it had a 10% setting.

Once on holiday I did that but the microwave was a bit more ambitious and affected the glue. Half the sole came loose on a walk

Got home fine by tying the laces around and under the shoe.

Well, it’s nice to be able to see the two tones in the two tone slushy. I guess that’s why. Not great for the environment though as you say.

I don’t know why, but even after moving to Linux where I could have still had a Taskbar, I’ve gone to an auto hide dock instead.

Maybe that’s a reaction to the task bar getting more cluttered over the years.

The last Mac I put this on was determined not to let me change doc files to open with it no matter what I did. It would change it for individual files only, but not the file type. Maybe because it was m1 or something.

Born in the PWA it was.

(I figure this limits what it can scrape from any OS.)

It was good when it was FolderShare.

I only know how to do it using a table hehe.
