I’ve been saying since I was in highschool that Shakespeare should probably be an elective in college, except for maybe Julius Caesar in AP Literature classes. It’s just so far out of date and the teachers aren’t allowed to explain what any of the slang means so it’s just… soulless. If they were able to explain how filthy it is, the kids would probably enjoy it more.

I mean if the mechanic said it like that the radiator might have gone hard enough to cause severe overheat problems. Blown head gasket, cracked cylinder, something like that maybe.

It would be one thing if Trump was actually anti-trust…but he isn’t.

He’s anti companies which don’t prostrate themselves in front of him and bow to his whims. They’re bad, terrible, anti American companies. The ones that do are great, wonderful, beautiful companies. The bad ones need to be broken up and given to the big ones.

He’s so transparent it’s painful. If someone says good things about Trump or give him money, they’re good. If they don’t, they’re bad. It’s absurdly obvious.

It can be, when it isn’t hamstrug by stupid regulations.

In the US the government tends toward being ineffective because it typically isn’t allowed to do much on its own. For almost everything it hires contractors to execute a function and then serves as oversight for the contractor. The only real exceptions I can think of to this outside of the military are the postal service, the forest service, and the FAA. All of which are pretty notably effective considering the depth and breadth of the service they provide, and provide high quality, long term employment.

My wife has an iPad and one of the things I hate the most is that you can’t install adblock extensions into Firefox on it like you can on Android. Which is a thing that has made using the browser on the phone wayyyy more enjoyable.
