Just incase you’re serious. Work on gnome x11 and kde x11 stopped ages ago, updates to the x11 server do not matter in the slightest.

As far as I know, there’s no DE with a good Wayland implementation AND a good x11 implementation. Gnome dropped theirs and when kde announced they where going to drop theirs. They also mentioned that it was basically unmaintained for years at this point.

I’m not sure how relevant these benchmarks even are.

Balatro is written in Lua not C just because Love uses SDL.

This is like saying Python, CPP, JS, PHP, LUA, Perl, Dart, C# and Java are just written in C.
