Late reply, but Mullvad offer gift cards that you can buy and then use in your account
They didn’t keel over last time, they decided to remove the ADP feature so that they couldn’t comply with the uk governments request
Bet you’re fun at parties
I think that’s what I saw someone say somewhere the point about data being directed to murena, but I suppose it depends on how murena handles data and what privacy policy’s are in place. That’s what I think many people would look at before deciding whether to use it or not
Correct me if I’m wrong but I thought eOS wasn’t trust worthy? I can’t remember why though but I remember reading something about why it wasn’t good to use
Welcome to lemmy!

Interesting insight thank you, I’ll keep reviewing other services
The sarcasm is unnecessary.
lol idk what you find amusing about that but okay
In my opinion, the Google Pixel with GrapheneOS is considered the gold standard in terms of security and privacy. While I am not fully knowledgeable about its capabilities, it offers a comprehensive suite of security features.
The iPhone is also a viable option. You can easily swap between iCloud to a more secure encrypted provider for both cloud storage and photo backups. Additionally, any notes application can be replaced with a more secure alternative.
Samsung phones can support a range of operating system images that can be flashed, including LineageOS. However, I am not fully aware of all the available options.
Don’t Amazon stock some things in their own warehouse?
Pretty cool to be fair, it’s always nice to see new projects popping up.
Not a terrible idea, at least company xyz won’t see what you bought from the other company’s and therefore prevents them sharing much of your data to Ad services.
I see the funny side of the comment.
However someone out there may see it and think “oh great I’ll switch to (insert another privacy invasive service here) instead.
See that’s a good response and I appreciate that idea :)
Depends what they are, I think a fair amount of people might be in the same boat, with a few services from different tiers.
I agree that Apple, while not entirely private, is still a decent choice compared to Android. They both have their flaws though.
Glad they are shaven because i would hate to have slices of unshaven turkey
