Someone from my country created a browser extension that translated clickbait article titles to descriptive titles using LLM. He got sued for copyright infringement by the most clickbaity “news” outlet in Denmark, forcing him to shut down the extension.
There’s been at least two bus crashes happening in my country last year with them ending on a sidewalk. I can’t imagine there was any more than that on time.
Depends on your perspective. 11ft bridge have claimed the lives of many large vehicles.

Yeah, we didn’t have those… We had one guy with prior experience of working in SNow on our team, none on the implementers’ team. He called the chaos and boy was he right. For reference, it was a company with 1000 people which were supposed to get SNow since the parent company wanted it (in total 20k people IIRC across all subsidiaries). No one thought to think that an agile software house required quite a lot of changes to the SNow setup to fit in together with all the old-school waterfall people it was designed for.

Anders Thomas Jensen is IMO the best Danish director. It’s usually the same gang that stars in the movies but they do an impeccable job. I suppose you have also seen the more recent Riders of Justice and The Last Viking too?
I have. I quit after it was decided our department should migrate to it. Half a year later I heard everything is on fire and the SNow migration was paused indefinitely.

It can likely untangle all the jumps an obfuscator makes with relative ease. After that it should be easier to decompile into something meaningful.
I fear they might replace him with someone who’s actually competent. Incompetence is currently limiting the evil.
DRM is basically just layers of obfuscated code to hide the “trap” code paths that render the game inoperable if you don’t have a license. I truly hope LLM can provide some good in this area, DRM is a black mark on digital rights and ownership.

The pickings were slim when I initially went to Lemmy, but I might take a look at some of the others again soon. I am also hoping a Lemmy app would support UnifiedPush in the foreseeable future.
I’m left handed and in the Jerboa app the vote buttons are on the left. I’ve accidentally voted on posts when scrolling the feed quite a few times by now.
I miss the old Relay Reddit app where I could move the controls around to avoid that issue.
I think EA opting for not having Denuvo poses a much bigger existential risk. If a big player like EA discovers that they’re actually not losing money for skipping DRM and are only getting bad rep for using it, they might consider if it is worth it at all. If a big player like EA goes, so does the rest.
Denuvo has broken their strategy of not interacting with the market at all (they’re not popular after all) due to their controversy actively hurting their sales. If Hypervisor workarounds can help speed it up I’m all for it, but I’m more keeping an eye on what game Denuvo is playing right now.
