Good old Cyanogen, my 10yo found my old nexus one in a draw, charged it up and turned it on…CyanogenMod boot screen, nice.
I guess next year I’ll have to post a joke just after midnight. I’ll wake to find confusion and chaos.
Often we are not even included on maps.
A fellow Veritasium enjoyer I see.

No you summon 8 wolves, pack tactics makes their attacks be at advantage… So useful.

I remember trying to play online quake in the 90’s, I live in new Zealand… We had dial up, my latency was around the 5s mark. I have up pretty quick.
If I wanted to play multiplayer games, it was taking my desktop computer to a friends house, connecting them together with 10Mb BNC networking, and don’t forget the 50ohm terminators.
A friend spent a week trying to download the original pirated version on XP, the couple of hundred meg file would get stopped for various reasons.
I have my full name as a gmail account, I got it as soon as it possible. firstname.lastname@gmail.com

I was going to say:
You know it’s cold, he is wearing shoes.
With a specific mix of spiteful grumpiness toward windows and a naive optimism, born of youth and abundant nerd resource at university.
That and a stoic acceptance that shit breaks, but it also broke on win 95, 98, XP and especially millennium edition. Which is the timeframe I switched in.
Going full time was fully enabled by reliable virtualization. When I could run a win XP VM and expect no issues in a work day, I was about to ditch windows as my main OS. Over time, I used fewer windows only applications, now I barely need the VM.
It really doesn’t take many changes; just swap the perspective. Sing it from the point of view of ICE etc…
[Verse]
Some of us that work forces
Are the same that burn crosses
Some of us that work forces
Are the same that burn crosses
Some of us that work forces
Are the same that burn crosses
Some of us that work forces
Are the same that burn crosses, ugh
[Refrain]
Killing in the name of
Killing in the name of
[Pre-Chorus]
And now you do what I tell ya
And now you do what I tell ya
And now you do what I tell ya
And now you do what I tell ya
And now you do what I tell ya
And now you do what I tell ya
And now you do what I tell ya
And now you do what I tell ya
And now you do what I tell ya
And now you do what I tell ya
But now you do what I tell ya
Well now you do what I tell ya
[Chorus]
Those I killed are justified
For wearin’ the badge, I’m the chosen knights
I justify those that died
By wearin’ the badge, I’m the chosen knights
Those I killed are justified
For wearin’ the badge, I’m the chosen knights
I justify those that died
By wearin’ the badge, I’m the chosen knights, come on
[Verse]
Some of those that work forces
Are the same that burn crosses
Some of those that work forces
Are the same that burn crosses
Some of those that work forces
Are the same that burn crosses
Some of those that work forces
Are the same that burn crosses, ugh
[Refrain]
Killing in the name of
Killing in the name of
[Pre-Chorus]
And now you do what I tell ya
And now you do what I tell ya
And now you do what I tell ya
And now you do what I tell ya
And now you do what I tell ya (Now you’re under control)
And now you do what I tell ya (And now you’re under control)
And now you do what I tell ya (And now you’re under control)
And now you do what I tell ya (Now you’re under control)
And now you do what I tell ya (Now you’re under control)
And now you do what I tell ya (Now you’re under control)
And now you do what I tell ya (Now you’re under control)
And now you do what I tell ya
[Chorus]
Those I killed are justified
For wearin’ the badge, I’m the chosen knights
I justify those that died
By wearin’ the badge, I’m the chosen knights
Those I killed are justified
For wearin’ the badge, I’m the chosen knights
I justify those that died
By wearin’ the badge, I’m the chosen knights, come on
[Guitar Solo]
Ugh
Yeah
Come on
Ugh
[Outro]
Fuck you, you do what I tell you
Fuck you, you do what I tell you
Fuck you, you do what I tell you
Fuck you, you do what I tell you
Fuck you, you do what I tell you
Fuck you, you do what I tell you
Fuck you, you do what I tell you
Fuck you, you do what I tell you
Fuck you, you do what I tell you
Fuck you, you do what I tell you
Fuck you, you do what I tell you
Fuck you, you do what I tell you
Fuck you, you do what I tell you
Fuck you, you do what I tell you
Fuck you, you do what I tell you
Fuck you, you do what I tell you
Get on the ground, Ugh
Now I need to listen to Rage.

I’m weirdly conflict conflicted, I mean we are on the map, but it is incorrect.
But most kiwis are shoes off in the house.

Can’t tell of sarcasm or serious, damn Poe’s law.
No I program with a magnetised needle and a steady hand.
The hands of fate are kind today.
