The original image was of Michelle Obama hugging George W. Bush. Those of us who were around back then remember how ghoulish W. Bush’s administration was, and he is being rehabilitated by liberals in present era. So this meme is suggesting that a future Republican leader will come around and then liberals will rehabilitate Trump in order to frame that new republican as the ultimate evil.
Arrested Development was literally a satire of the Bush family/administration, whom are now being rehabilitated by usonian liberals.
I imagine a world beyond proprietary software, and GNU/Linux is the most promising implementation of that.
I don’t agree with reducing software-freedom to an issue of mere privacy-friendliness. I’m willing to be realistic about the security shortcomings of Libre software but not if the alternative is locked down silos and walled gardens.
