Trams and trains solves this beautifully

A lot of indie companies would not exists if there wasn’t a storefront like Steam that handles worldwide transactions, distributes the game and increases their discoverability.
There are other options, such as itch.io.
If you think Valve’s cut should be lower, you’re free to make your own marketplace and compete.

Now include consoles and phones.

Valve employees aren’t pissing in bottles. Amazon also does a bunch of shitty things on their marketplace (Amazon basics) and killed all the competition.
There’s a huge difference in ethics here.

I’ve been running an ideapad for 12 years and it’s still going strong. But I wouldn’t be surprized if the newer models are worse.

Well I’ve never seen those. Must be new or Desjardins doesn’t have them.
I put everyone on LMDE

LMDE is great, it’s what I recommend to all new Linux users. Lots of tiny things that remove friction, like not requiring Sudo for apt and showing stars when typing a password.

Ventoy.
Fill it with ISOs
I’m not the only one! Mercurial is so much more intuitive. And it has proper branches!
I’m surprised LMDE almost never gets shoutouts. I’d assume since people don’t like Ubuntu they’d recommend it over Mint.
Just ditch Ubuntu and Snap at this point. LMDE is much better.

You do though. W10 EOL is October, and you’re not gonna move to Linux, sadly.

Yeah, just started using W11 for work and it’s insane how often I need to wait for character to buffer in after I typed something.
I shouldn’t be faster than my computer in this day and age, and yet here we are.
With ligatures!
