Yes, so the proposal is to replace the unused bike lane with a bus lane.
That bridge is too long for bike commutes.
What do I know, I only live there.
No. The bike lane is full width and the proposal replaces with a full car lane.
Get educated before you try schooling others.
You reject first hand experience because it conflicts with your political biases.
Please tell me o wise traveler, how us Bay Area residents should convert full freeway lanes into unused bike lanes.
That bike lane is such an offensive waste of hundreds of millions of dollars of infrastructure.
A handful of bike activists got a recreational lane that sees almost zero use, while every day thousands of people trying to get to work are stuck in traffic next to an empty lane.
No that’s not how sunrise/set works in summer at far north latitudes.
Check out the solar path of somewhere north of the arctic circle in summer.
At high latitudes such as Seattle, there is no orientation that will provide shade at all times of year.
Best they can do is center it. If they set the shade south of the benches, you get no shade in summer during the morning or late afternoon when the sun rises and sets in the north.
Whats your proposed design? Make the shade 4x bigger for 4x the price?
Store encrypted on a trusted cloud provider (or two) and put the password in an envelope.
I was just going to ask if you had a 4 legged cleanup volunteer.
Look on the bright side, you made your dog happy and didn’t need to clean up.
Maybe a dumb question, but what does UW actually do besides act as a charity franchise/middleman?
I thought the big strength was they basically invented paycheck deductions for charity, but then all the other charities got in on it too.
What is the future of X.org if all the mainstream distros drop X11 for Wayland?
Any other projects we should know about?
If you want the phone to work reliably anywhere besides home/school/work, you need a real cellular carrier.
If you’re a shut-in, WiFi only is fine.
So you’re saying he’s guilty of wrongthink?
Now we’re criticizing people for things they didn’t say?
Avast, ye matey!
I’ve had top taskbar auto hide since Win95.
MacOS got it right back in 1984 but Windows insisted on doing it wrong like an edgy teen wearing their baseball cap to the side.
I already have SMB but want something easier for non tech family members.
Nginx sounds like the way to go and just symlink www -> recipes
