  • It’s real fucking simple: let people turn it on if they want to use it (any feature, not just ai), and let everyone else leave it disabled by default. The fact that they have to poll users for what they want shows how tone deaf they are to begin with.

    Wow. Just wow. Do you even hear yourself when you say shit like that? That I should just make up my own reasoning for the things people say? Did you really just suggest that? Because where I come from we have those people, and they’re fucking everything up for everyone because they think like you. You need to stop and really think about what you said.







  • In this case, the bookshelf is stronger than that poor screw. When attaching things, especially things with variable load and the potential for a lot of touching, you absolutely need to either drill into one or more studs (based on length of said item), or use the appropriately-rated drywall anchor (they are rated based on weight load). Both the anchor and screw must pierce the drywall, and the screw must be tightened so that it collapses the anchor back into the drywall. That’s what gives it the ability to hold up.
