Interesting, why is that? Like what feature is that?

Ah indeed, ALT+S does nothing. I must have pressed both before realizing it was frozen.
On my Terminal that just makes it so I can’t type anymore, I feel like I’m doing something wrong…
My solution to the problem is CTRL+U, type sudo, CTRL+Y.
If you’re a fan of Windows 7 I can highly recommend aerothemeplasma for the full experience!

The same works with ipinfo.io, it’s what I usually use.

I use and enjoy it too, but sadly it is not FOSS.

That’s a separate OS setting. Signal itself has its own setting for which content is actually sent in the notification.

I don’t use it anymore as I switched to TrueNAS which has the functionality built in, but I used to use docking-station.

All of the results are very odd. If you look through the other categories, Simplified Chinese gained THIRTY percent, the Hard Drive categories also wildly changed, and 32 GB RAM jumped +18%. It seems to me like a bunch of Chinese systems just flooded the statistics.

Users who aren’t verified as adults will not be able to access age-restricted servers and channels, won’t be able to speak in Discord’s livestream-like “stage” channels, and will see content filters for any content Discord detects as graphic or sensitive. They will also get warning prompts for friend requests from potentially unfamiliar users, and DMs from unfamiliar users will be automatically filtered into a separate inbox.
That shouldn’t be too restricting for people using discord to chat with their friends though.
I don’t know, I always found it pretty fun on my Xbox 360.

I already knew about using this for search, but the ticket example is another great use I didn’t think of at all! Totally using this, thanks.

From what I read, the modern solution has smooth 60 fps, compared to 2-10 FPS with the JPEG method. Granted, that probably also factors in low network speeds, but I’d imagine you may hit a framerate cap lower than 60 when just spamming JPEGs.
This toot is a response to a very similar question from someone else.
Also keep in mind, LTS versions always offer 5 years of support, so the current PopOS 22.04 LTS will receive support until April 2027, and the new PopOS 24.04 LTS will receive updates until April 2029.
PopOS isn’t going anywhere?
They’ve been working on their own Desktop Environment (COSMIC) for quite a while, an alpha and a beta already exists and the release is planned for December 11th (source).
For me I’d just say oh well, gotta fix it when I’m home again.
Otherwise I’d probably write some script on the server, which reboots my router when the server either doesn’t have internet anymore or can’t ping itself.
I actually use both apps, I find Organic Maps a lot nicer for looking at a map and navigating by foot or bike, and Magic Earth seems to pick more sensible car routes some times. Also the live traffic data makes it more fitting for car navigation (Organic Maps doesn’t have traffic data).
I can highly recommend Magic Earth as a Google Maps alternative (also available for Android). It uses OSM data and has some traffic info. It’s not as good as Google, but it’s the closest I’ve found so far.
AFAIK you can enable the snapcast server and then use an app like SnapCast to stream to your mobile devices.
I’ve been running an HP ProDesk 600 G4 mini (i5-8500T, 32 GB RAM) for a few years now and am very happy. I bought it with 8 or 16 GB RAM and a 256 GB M.2 for 140 €. It can fit one 2.5" SATA drive and two M.2 2280 drives. I have it running 24/7/365 with 2x2 TB M.2 SSDs and a 256 GB boot SSD and it usually uses around 7 Watts.
If you want to go the HP route, ProDesk 600 and EliteDesk 800 have two M.2 slots, while the ProDesk 400 only has one.
Alternatively, Lenovo and Dell also have similar formfactor PCs, but I don’t remember their names.
Performance wise, the 8th gen i5 is more than fine for TrueNAS and 10-15 docker containers.
