Do it. If I’d had nice backups, I could have wiped and done a clean install. Instead I’m praying this gets fixed so I do lose about a month of pictures and all my 2fa tokens :p

I could not get twrp to boot from fastboot. I’ll look into flashing the stock firmware. Is there a chance that would break anything? I’m somewhat hopeful that an updated LOs4microG is released soon since the one I installed has now been marked as broken.

I can’t quite figure this out. I can enable ADB from Lineage recovery, but I don’t know where my data is. I can ‘adb shell’, cd /dev, and I see a ton of shit but nothing seems like storage. I do ‘df -aH’ in /dev and it is like 5.7 Gigs free of 6. There’s no way that’s all my pictures and stuff.

Depends on your school/classes. I had no problems. Last school I attended used MS for email etc. I got a discounted license for Office which I was able to access in the browser if/whenever LibreOffice wasn’t a good option.

Yunohost is self hosting. You install Debian on your computer/server at home and run the Yunohost setup script.

Yeah, I can’t fuck with Docker either. Check out Yunohost if you want something that is actually easy to get up and running.

This is true. There’s even a Linux command to grab the license key. The key won’t work on any other hardware tho, so it’s kind of useless :)

I’ve had some problems with mounting disks in my user home folder. I can’t recall the details, but it did cause me a headache at some point.

Looks like a push to discredit Signal right now. While I know Signal isn’t perfect, I do like it and I haven’t seen anything that is better (on the whole). The 3rd “emoji-point” is quite an accusation, and I would love to see any evidence of this kind of thing, that didn’t result from the cops unlocking a defendants phone, or having infiltrated a chat.
