@mkmusic22@anime@ani.social looking at your list, I think you might enjoy Mushishi. It’s a slow, contemplative show with a melancholic zen-like vibe that I don’t find in many other anime. It is kinda episodic, with a recurring central character.
For movies, I’d recommend checking out the entire filmography of Satoshi Kon. The animation/art/story telling direction is incredible with some interesting things to say about society, identity, and blurs reality with unreality seamlessly.
