I would suggest a rewatch yeah and watch it not in comparison to any other movie but just for what it is and the experience it is on its own. I think it is also being propped up a bit because it’s such a good movie that’s original and not part of some franchise or remake which is much needed this day and age.

It was an original story by a well known filmmaker. Acting is great and the score plus the scene with all the different generations of music is insanely well mixed and very well done. Had characters I was attached to and had a good ending plus the scene after the credits. Was probably my movie of the year.

I have a 3080 with two HDR capable high refresh rate monitors and a year ago when I switched I tried Pop and Fedora both of which just launched all games to a black screen. Installed arch which finally let me run most proton games but every couple of sessions I get FPS spikes and jittering and have to restart the games. Going to get a 9070XT and bazzite soon

I think Glen Powell was miscast for this movie. If you watch Hit Man or Twisters the man can act and does have charisma and screen presence, just in a different way than this movie wanted him to show it as the angriest man alive.

I had fun with the movie but I was hoping it would be better. It had a lot of satire and poking at issues in the current world but never fully delivered on any idea fully.

Waves is an insane ride of a movie. So many emotions and so many great performances. The directing and editing are really impressive as well.

Nobody Wants this is fantastic and super entertaining. Didn’t quite like season 2 as much but is very well done. All the Actors and characters are great.

Been waiting for an announcement like this! Was surprised it hasn’t had a physical release.

I avoid trailers and only use podcasts, letterboxd and newsletters to hear about upcoming movies based on the director, studio, actors, etc. I go to my theaters discount Tuesdays about once a month so that’s another great time to see trailers for other random movies. Everyone is so pessimistic about movies in this community I’m surprised anyone even reads or comments on things that are posted.

They’ve been offering self hosted options for years and this is just another method that isn’t much more work to put out. I dont think they care about vault warden that much. I’ve been using the full self hosted stack since 2019 at home.

Songs and story isn’t as good as the first film which I think everyone has known and expected. Was still entertaining. Acting from most of the leads was great and the sets and costumes were fantastic again.

It’s not only a carrier issue but it is an issue only with Samsung’s bought through carriers. Samsung obviously allows that or subsidizes them somehow. AFAIK with Samsung and carrier branded devices they have their own update schedules as well that is separate than just updates from Samsung.
