I got one for a friend Nd she loves it. She is a playstation gamer, but wanted to try pc. I think the gabecube makes sense if you don’t have a pc

Lemmy: the Gabe cube is too expensive and performance sucks ass
All gaming companies: let’s shoot ourselves in the foot in multitudes
Gabe: here we go emptying wallets again
It’s only straight if you enjoy it
I’m in this picture… My build had been stable for a year and I only once had my PC booting in safe mode
I’ve had those! It sounded like such a tech bro bs at first, then I found them secondhand for a steal. The whole “it adjusts to your ear canal” actually does something! In the end what made me sell them was use on the go. Every bump or movement of your head made the in ear part move and thus make weird noise cancelling sounds when that happened.
Great headphones and still miss them

I wouldn’t pay it, but that is the price you’d normally pay for custom keycaps on Etsy as well. Quite often for lower quality too

I really want to switch to a clamshell for portability and nostalgia, but none of the clamshells supports usb c pd… I don’t want to bring around an a to c charger just for this device

Edit2: you actually can get hardware surveys on steam os! Do you even get hardware surveys on steam os though?
Edit: question mark, curious here

Android, ew. Should be a Linux phone
-sent from Boost for Lemmy

OH NO I MISSED IT ;-;
I saw you promote this a good while ago. Currently not in the market for a new game, but I’d like to support. If you send me your PayPal or something I’ll donate some for the cause

I don’t think I hate teams for the same reason as most on this site. My gripe is the stability issues. Just at my department alone there are 20 different issues per teams. Some range from buttons working after a few presses to teams just bsod the device. On my laptop teams has a memory leak and which is persistent. I have to clear teams every week or it will not even start up anymore

I boulder. Great training with debt if you lose grip

You can do this over hotspot, but it’s not as convenient as just dropping it in GDrive

I have been using stadia controllers for a while now. They’re not special and don’t look special. They do come with a very good battery life and you can find them for 10 bucks a pop

Whilst I play Skyrim on the deck. I believe that these ratings are for the less tech savvy and (ex-)console gamers.
There has been a bug in Skyrim for eons when opening the onscreen keyboard the game can just hard crash. That’s something that can be fixed by first going to the creator something and opening and closing the keyboard there first.
If that troubleshooting sounds rudimentary for you, just use protondb
Just stop using random playlists of people and start playing albums. Works regardless of the platform, works on local and cloud stored music and makes you appreciate artists again.
And best of all, buy albums you listen to very often on Bandcamp
I go climbing 3 times a week. I do all these things and have no back issues.
Let’s not talk about the tendons in my arms however…

It’s been fun lads. Let’s make agreements for where we will touch grass together when this happens. Follow-up events will be decided on location

That’s sick! Didn’t know that and will try it in the first one too!
I mean, probably. But doing it seems more fun
