I used to do this, but todo.txt is a dead format now unfortunately, the maintainers left a long time ago. Tasks.org is where its at, open-source, sync how you want, tagging, recurring tasks.

I guess we shouldn’t be surprised… a lot of liberals on the fediverse have the brain of a goldfish and can’t remember all the scandals she’s been involved in.
Notes, Todo lists and links? A DB is not what you need.
These are all different concerns each with specialized software for them.
For todos and lists, I like tasks.org
For Notes and links, use a folder of markdown files, and an editor like Obsidian or Markor.
Try asking the maintainers for clarification or an update on anything. They’re gone.
