After moving to Germany I really started appreciating quiet Sundays. Stores are closed, hardly any traffic anywhere, people walk around parks, maybe get a pint. 99% of us don’t need anything so bad on a Sunday it can’t wait until Monday

Cime di Rapa or Turnip Tops are nearly identical to Friarielli, I often use them in pasta or on pizza. So delicious.
You can cook the fresh ones down like you would fresh spinach. Let it all cool off, stuff in a jar, add a few garlic cloves, salt and cover with oil. Then you always have some ready to put on pizza.
Buon appetito!

Well said, thank you.

Our EU governments and businesses are mainly kept in check by general demonstrations and/or strikes. Good unionisation to facilitate the above helps.
Rise up and don’t let the bastards take you down!

43€ in the Netherlands if paid out of pocket

While “mental retardation” was originally introduced as a medical term in 1961 for people with intellectual disabilities, in the decades since, the R-word has become an insult used all too commonly in everyday language. Those who use the R-word often do so with little regard for the pain it causes people with intellectual disabilities—and the exclusion it perpetuates in our society.

No need for the r slur and parents’ handed down phones going to kids is not as sensational as you seem to think

Except the US are still considered a safe country and asylum seekers have been denied and sent back.
Recently watched a doc about trans people fleeing the US to the Netherlands and not being succesful with their asylum requests despite the terror they face in several states.

Google and their big tech buddies made their choice by supporting Trump’s regime. I know actions have consequences is a concept that doesn’t apply in the US, but elsewhere it does. Deal with it.
Actually many of the captchas work either way. If I see AI generated images in the captcha I deliberately click wrong. Since they’re using us to train their AI, I gladly mess up their training data.
Oh yes
