ok just stupid defaults

$ shopt -s failglob
$ echo e*
bash: no match: e*

bash is weird

$ bash -c 'echo e*'
e*
$ fish -c 'echo e*'

not only does unrm not exist, the shell expands * to whatever is in the current directory, which is empty because anon just rmd everything

basically when i type ... it expands to ../.. and adds another /.. for every additional dot i type

its similar to what the zsh users in the comment section are doing
