  • I think there are multiple reasons for that. The working part others mentioned is the most important reason. But seeing how many posts get marked as nsfw, that have nothing to do with sexuality, while posts about murder, death, abuse, etc. get posted without warning, shows that there are more reasons.

    A big part of the americans are scared to death by nudity and theyre exporting their mindsets through their movies, etc… Excessive violence is totally fine, but sexuality is a sin. Same holds true for many parents/religion/political leaders around the world who educate the people to think like that. Having a 16 year old kid looking for porn is a huge problem, but a 12 year old playing shooter games for hours a day is totally fine.

    NSFW is good and necessary, but this is way out of balance and other things should get a waring option too.
