They/Them
“I’ve seen it, the mask of humanity fall from capital—it has to take it off to kill everyone—everything you love; all the hope and tenderness in the world. It has to take it off, just for one second. To do the deed. And then you see it. As it strangles and beats your friends to death… the sweetest most courageous people in the world. You see the fear and power in its eyes. Then you know that the bourgeois are not human.”

Idk if you saw the recent European parliament meeting where many chanted “send them back” and decided on building concentration camps but some European leaders genuinely are getting very close to being Hitler. Putin is no Stalin, which is why the current state of EU political leaders is so concerning to me. Last time we had someone with the will to stop fascism, I don’t think we do anymore.
Yes, but servers don’t get paid a livable wage without tips
That looks far better? Like yeah advertising sucks and I wish it were illegal but that isn’t the only issue with the original image
I don’t think all of humanity holds equal responsibility. Capitalists and the system they uphold are far more responsible for our overproduction than the laborers they employ

I always get them confused 😔

That system cannot be sustained without imperialism. The Nordic countries receive their wealth from the imperial periphery. We need something better than capitalism with a facelift
Having perspectives that significantly differ from the dominant cultural perspective, even if your conclusions agree, often makes you seem like a bad person according to the values inherent to that culture. (Notice how bad in that sentence is subject to the culture)
I just told you I don’t believe in objective evils. Yes obviously I think it is awful. There is however, no way for me to discuss this topic in detached philosophical terms without sounding like a massive asshole so I will not be doing that. I thought I was clear in my original explanation at least, I’m sorry you did not understand me.
Idk what to tell you man I just explained how what is good for workers isn’t an objective good because good is a subjective term. It is okay to pursue subjective goods no? Just because something is true for the majority doesn’t mean it is objective. When workers try to take political power there are going to be those who violently oppose them, this is “good” from their perspective because for them worker power is bad. Yet worker power is still worth pursuing even though bad things happen on the way because it is subjectively good for workers. Does this help? This whole good and bad shit gets confusing which is why I try not to base my worldview around it. Marxism is more about how economic forces direct historical development and how to understand present historical developments based on economic forces. I suck at explaining this shit in liberal terms
You misunderstand. I do not think objective goods exist. I agree that this is a good thing but do you think the bourgeoisie do? Would they say worker control of the economy is good? Good and bad are subjective terms that should be treated that way. We cannot apply what we consider good to everyone and we cannot expect everyone to agree on what is “good”. We therefore shouldn’t base our political platform on what is good for everyone but rather what is good for workers, a catagory which encapsulates the majority of people.
Because it will give workers political power which would give us control over our lives and I want most people to have a choice in how their life turns out.
You understand Nazis are idealists right? Like a common dog whistle among them is calling themselves “true idealist” or “actual idealist”. You may not like their ideals and many of them may not actually closely follow their ideals but they do have them. Their understanding of the world begins with an ideal and ends in applying it to the material world, something liberals have in common with them.
Russia was literally one of the last to make a deal with the nazis

Like the allies very famously took foreever to do anything of substance
You only think that because you believe the myths. The post is referencing the people who told them to you.

Anyone know wtf causes that. Like what sort of mold looks like that?

Okay I wouldn’t say always. They had really rough patches as a result of the imperialist siege and had to wield authority with impunity. They don’t have to do this these days but we shouldn’t obscure their history to support what they are now.
I have noticed a similar thing but it severely varies with what I post
We are all doing what we can I think. This place DOES have a culture that is different from reddit
Please don’t blame your domestic ploitical troubles on scary asians. American liberals do this too and they are just full of shit. I am aware that they are far right, that is what concerns me
This is not to say Russia doesn’t interfere in your politics. I think most major capitalist nations meddle in each others elections. However, fascism isn’t something built by outside agitators. Take responsibility for the actions of your nation and please try to do something about it.
