    … Yes, it’s still kids gambling, it’s just valve is the one probably profiting the most.

      That’s an unfair synopsis of the post. They’re comparing the digital items to physical collectibles like baseball cards and Pokémon cards.

      I think the comparison to blind box toys is fairly good - I never bought blind box legos to make money, I just liked a few of each run and hoped I’d get it. There seems to be a bit of a difference between gambling and baseball cards.

      I think the argument is fair. The question to answer is: is it different then trading cards and more, and if not, should trading cards be illegal?
