    What a weird take. Windows in GUIs were a thing years before Microsoft made theirs. It followed white logically from Microsoft DOS. There were several other operating systems called something with DOS at the time, PC-DOS, Novell DOS, and others.

    While not a very creative name, it was pretty self explanatory as to its major feature.

    Talk about bad names for an operating system, IBM‘s OS/2 is far worse.

      That is nonsense, I did look it up and it was a last minute marketing decision. Found the guy that likes Winblows!
