It does shock me that “trans girl” (or variants thereof) is consistently one of the highest searched terms on pornhub globally, and yet so many countries are trying to eradicate us
It’s to cover their own shame. Not too different than most outspoken homophobes being in closet themselves. They are trying compensate for their own insecurities with hate and violence.

It’s also about making the most vulnerable group target to project the public’s frustration. Substitute trans folks with homeless or any other minor race in the region and goals achieved
Society has intertwined gender and sexuality. We’re now in a position that I don’t think we can backpedal from. I’m not even sure it’s from the porn industry. We always group it together (LGBTQ+). Someone’s gender or gender identity has nothing to do with who they’re fucking or who they’re attracted to. But we put everything under one umbrella so you can’t separate someone’s sexuality from their gender identity.
Not just gender identity, but identity as a whole. Some people base their entire identity about who they are attracted to.
That’s why I base my identity on my alcoholism. I ain’t fucking Jim Beam and nobody needs to know who I am fucking.

That’s my boy Flick from Animal Crossing! Everyone’s favourite trans character in the game. (None of them are canonically trans, but there are a few that imply it. Flick, it’s just being a feminine boy. There’s one who is a peacock but has a girl’s name. So with peafowl, you’re mostly familiar with the male, the peacock, it’s got that famous plume of feathers. The female of the species, the peahen, does not have this feature… so if you show me a peacock and say it’s a girl, I’m going to say a Japanese game developer is representing the trans community, rather than a Japanese game developer making a game about animals and preserveation/conservation not knowing the difference. Rather, I think they slipped it by their conservative publishers.
Not to mention you can change your gender in the game. (But not your name. So be careful with that.)
