Does this violate the rules in D&D?

If not I have a new character

    Edit:

A willing creature that is at least one size larger than you and that has an appropriate anatomy can serve as a mount, using the following rules.

Centaurs are medium, horses are large. RAW a centaur should be able to mount a horse, with only some squabbling over appropriate anatomy.

How are you even supposed to act towards a horse if you’re a centaur? Wouldn’t they basically seem like non-sapient furries to you? It seems uncomfortable, it would raise questions about the nature of whatever world you exist in.

I’ve known many, many people who keep horses. All the time, effort, and money that goes into keeping them happy, healthy, and alive – horse ownership is not a good match for lazy people.

On the other hand, if the horse feels it’s lazy, who am I to deny his feelings on the matter. I’m not the one being ridden.
