Irans got the right of this. Until the US regime is toppled, deescelation is a strategic mistake. The US can’t do anything to stop this. It had NO fucking plan or clue of what to do in this war. It has no demining vessels less than a months journey away. The demining vessels it has suck at demining. It had no forces set up to keep the straight open. Only vessels to support offensive operations.

Iran has the upper hand, almost entirely.
