Straight up. Sonic is mid at best without Jim Carrey and definitely wouldn’t have gotten to 4 movies without his energy
It’s the perfect casting. What better option could there be for a 1990s nostalgia bait movie than to defrost 1993-era Jim Carrey?

The teaser also doesn’t tell us anything we didn’t already know from the Sonic 3 post-credits scene.
