Fetterman castigated his “fellow” Democrats for daring to mention Trump’s felony convictions because, according to him, Democrats “are supposed to be the party of forgiveness”. Bad enough that he thinks throwing away a tactical advantage is a good idea, but who the fuck ever said Democrats are the party of forgiveness?

Honestly though, a real democracy needs the ability for the electorate to rescind their approval and immediately force a special election. Politicians aren’t nearly scared enough of losing their jobs.

If I fuck up at my job, I get fired immediately. It should be the same for politicians.

I agree. I suffered a stroke in 2013 and saw numerous Dr’s both at that time, and since then. I’ve recovered and it did change my personality – BUT – it did not make me an arsehole and I never betrayed my core values or stop representing at my job. Maybe I was lucky, or blessed, but if I can come back from the edge of existence and still choose what’s morally right, I absolutely expect that from someone in a position of authority.

If can’t, or won’t, represent the people who voted for him, he needs to step down. If Fetterman had been voted in as a Republican, and switched sides to Democrat, Trump would have hung him out to dry.

It’s a real world super power!

Like getting a dose of radiation now you have cancer!

Or a bite from a spider now you have the hardest erection of your life but the doctors are trying to get rid of it before your dick falls off.
