Got a comment removed (and somebody else’s comment for referring to mine) because I dared to remark that communism (at least the style .ml wants) doesn’t seem to be the solution against pedophiles. That’s what their meme suggested, but if Stalin is having sex with 14 year olds, I don’t really see it as improvement.
I’m surprised I wasn’t banned for besmirching dear leader’s white vest.

Yeah, you deserved to be banned. This is some smooth brain Great Man Of History nonsense.
Sorry, but where exactly do I propose great man of history theory? I seriously don’t understand what you mean with your comment? Can you explain your intent to me please?
Maybe it’s a good starting place that I explain what I meant in more detail.
The original post was a meme on lemmy.ml about how communism would be the antidote to pedophilia. Another commentator provided Lavrentiy Beria as example of a rapist and pedophile in the Soviet Union, which contradicts the original meme (And no I will not go into a discussion now that the Soviet Union was never communist but only socialist, that is one layer too deep for a meme). I then provided Stalin himself as another powerful pedophile in the Soviet Union as another counterpoint to the meme.
That mention of Stalin’s pedophilia was then deleted by a .ml mod as misinformation, since they don’t want people to see how their idol behaved in reality. And I object to that censorship about how the dictator of the Soviet Union behaved and therefore made this post here.
You’re suggesting they would all stop existing in communism? As much as communism has potential in places, it’s not a “Stop All Evil” button.
Also, why should someone be banned instead of continuing a discussion or just ignoring them? Why do we all just immediately ban people the moment they have a differing opinion?
I can get behind blocking and moving on, but people are way too quick to ban in the middle of a conversation.
Homodomor?
