Got a call about kittens in a shed. By the time we got there I one kitten was already expired. One wasn’t going to make it through the day without intervention. More than half of all feral kittens won’t make it to three months old.
We got the mom and one other. Two more to go.
And unlike in a lot of cases we actually got some money. Not sure if it will cover all the gas costs but it definitely helps.
The kittens are off to be bottle fed by someone who will probably go insane because bottle feeding kills humans. The adults will go in on Tuesday to get fixed and vaccinated.
Fix yo damn pets.

Sincere thanks for what you do.
Also:
I gotta ask what you mean? I loved bottle feeding my kittens but maybe that’s cause they’re mine.
The two hour feeding interval destroys people. It is incredibly hard to find people who can survive it. In this case the nearest foster that could handle it is 30 miles away.
My wife won’t let me bottle feed because it destroys all semblance of healthy lifestyle even if she isn’t even holding the bottle. I already have sleep issues. Feeding kittens turns me into a guy that can’t cook dinner.
These kids are all of 2 weeks old. Given the state they were described in I wasn’t even sure that I’d wake up to find out that any would survive.
That… Just sounds like having a baby. Our newborn ate every 2-3 hours for the first couple months. We’re only just getting to longer sleeps at night.
Holy smokes - is that every two hours? For how long?
Until they are about 7 weeks old. But by then it’s closer to every four hours.
