I get your point in the strict sense, although there’s arguably a line of reasoning from some academics who define cannibalism as the consumption of another human in some shape or form, be it literal ingestion or by slavery, and emotional or sexual exploitation, etc. This way, you are taking the aspect or essence of another person, almost to the point of becoming parasitic or opportunistic for your benefit.
And I’m only bringing this up not to contradict you or whatever, but to share this idea that I found quite fascinating when reading The Delectable Negro by Dwight McBride. Like, huh, I never imagined the stretching of a definition could go that far to support a thesis. It’s not the most exciting read, but it’s interesting nonetheless.

Is prostitution any worse than doing physically grueling labor? Is organ donation technically different from cannibalism? Certainly, arguments can be made. They are certainly things to think about.
