Greatest con the government ever pulled was convincing the masses that state law = right. Way I see it, there are five primary laws and each region’s society and ruler values their hierarchy independently: State, Ethical/Natural, Religious, Corporate, Moral. Some say moral law is subjective, well I say moral code is often shared, especially when it’s a question of life.
The USA values corporate law above all, Saudi Arabia religious, and for many countries of Europe it’s state law. I value and trust ethical then moral to be right, well above corporate.
