A mysterious data center company has drawn the ire of local residents in Ohio. They voice concerns about the impact on their water supply, noise pollution, and rising energy costs — and criticize the secrecy around the 600-acre project. The shadowy developer, a Delaware-registered LLC, appears to be a front for one of the largest tech companies on earth: Meta.


They also raise nearby air temperatures up to 16 degrees F.
I certainly understand why folks don’t what that in their backyard. However, that sounds like a really great source of free heat to tap for commercial scale greenhouses in the winter time. I see theres a small deployment of this in Paris.
This is why we need to be doing more industrial stacking and underground shit. We need industrial subterranean towers so all the waste heats and pollution can be captured and used. This would also help humanity figure out self contained industrial on the moon and shit
