We measure sodas bigger than this in Liters.

Not other liquids… just Soda. Milk you buy a gallon of. Soda? 2 Liters. Saying you’re gonna buy a gallon of Soda sounds very strange to an American. There’s also 1 Liter bottles.

It’s the one of the most stupid Americanisms.
