I don’t know much about the dune universe except the old film from decades ago which I like. The recent part 1 was cool and down to see the second but if there’s more to it than that, I don’t want to spend that much time. That’s it, I don’t dislike it, just don’t want to invest into the films.

Bit dated now but I still enjoyed them. Quality is lower but I think they did a great job with the source material. I consider it supplemental material. If you want more dune content. I saw it on youtube just last year.

There is a bunch of books. Sci-fi channel did a mini series going until 4th book i believe.

That’s correct, the mini-series stoppped at the end of the third book.
