I’m pointing out that there are many other common contexts were things don’t at all work like that. By that “logic” of yours whenever a Western newspaper publishes a story about something that happened elsewhere in the World, it’s “goalpost moving”. I think you’re confusing your own “I don’t give a shit about people not like me” mindset with the mindset of the entire audience here.
