I dont get it. What does seaward mean and is it not pronounced as sea-ward?

  Seaward: toward the sea. Sounds like “C-word”.
  
  Edit: The other part of the joke is how people, usually children, refer to a curse word without saying it, by calling it the [first letter]-word.
