It’s going quite well. I had to go to the German embassy to apply for my passport (I’m Irish, but I have a German passport. Unbeknownst to me, the German state considers me a German citizen, as I had a Kinderausweis when I was young). So, it was an interesting and easy experience. But I got quite nervous having to use German in an official context again.
