To install, go to the decky store and add it.

I know a lot of people complain about getting 50 games added to the scheduled download list and having to click them all one by one, so this should be pretty nice.

Is it painful to go back to stable from beta? Like, do I risk losing anything… Steam input options, settings, anything like that? I never know when some new-to-me feature I just dicovered is beta or not.

I previously uninstalled Decky because it broke my Steam Deck too often, and the advantages just weren’t compelling enough to deal with that. I’ve wondered several times if going back to the stable branch would make it work better, and if I should try it again, and I’m glad you confirmed that it does.

      No glaring issues!

You might have to reinstall a plugin, but I’ve only seen that issue literally once. It only happens if that plugin is dependent on being on the beta channel.

Once you switch back to stable, just restart your Steam Deck and it’ll be good to go!

No data loss or anything awful. But if it helps, I’ll check in with my friend on Decky and get his confirmation before you do :)
