most people in trades are conservative, and mostly white people, with a side of hispanic groups. people wonder why more arnt going into the trades, likely they arnt hiring people outside of that political demographic.

I’ve been a scientific monitor for construction projects and they will tolerate you, but you will mostly be excluded. I of course as bearded man from the South had an easier time than some of the younger women that were my coworkers. Of course they generally don’t like the monitors much, but they have clear preferences.
