Up until now I was finding the anime’s pacing kind of slow, but the plots in this episode really sparked my curiosity and I actually paid a lot more attention to it.
I think the animation is pretty average, nothing that stands out too much, and like I said before the pacing felt kinda dull, but in this third episode the way they picked up the speed was really good (does the author know the rule of three or something? lol).
Approved, and we’ll keep watching a romance between replicas while the originals are just suffering.
I’m kinda angry that I didn’t think too much about that time he said it’s not him that got hurt. I was so sure it’s going to be a tragic story about a human that falls in love with a replica I didn’t even consider the possibility that he can also be a replica. Still, I feel a little bit relieved that his and her circumstances are almost the same.
I like how he noticed Nao even before she put up her ponytail. It was brilliant. This show sure is slow but episodes feel short to me. I’m not sure why I’m enjoying this so much. Maybe because it’s different from any other romance? I don’t think I have ever seen such a mature view of love. It’s so natural in such unnatural circumstances. Also worth to mention unique artistic choices like silence in some scenes or fog in others.
I really enjoy a lot of romances this season but so far this is my favorite.
This is so good!
Even with as high as my hopes went after last week, it still blew me away. What a story!
And I don’t have the foggiest idea where it’s going, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Honestly I didn’t expect this to be so good… Hopefully they can keep up until the last episode.
Yeah - I initially just thought it looked sort of promising, and the first episode was okay but not great. But then the second episode just built up all the way through and ended on an impressive sort of a cliffhanger - a reminder that, if she chooses to exercise it, Sunao has pretty much absolute power over Nao. And then this episode just blew me away - so many intriguing and surprising reveals and a terrific cliffhanger.
And yeah - I just hope it can keep me on the edge of my seat going forward.
