    … Are the fish Muslim?

As part of their acting like humans?

Also, generally speaking, fish are halal to eat.

So there’s no reason for a non muslim fish to either literally not be halal, as food, nor abide by muslim dress code, as a ‘person’, who does not appear to be muslim.

The widely varying different standards of Islamic Dress Codes != Halal.

To conflate the two would be like asking if a Yarmulke is Kosher. Its … nonsensical.

This is peak content. May the light of Allah shine upon Dory and guide her to the truth, inshallah.

If the fish aren’t Muslim then perhaps that poster up there should not be advertising the movie night as “Halal” 🤭

        No you don’t get it.

Halal, most literally, means basically ‘approved’.

In this context, its essentially ‘Family Friendly’.

Inshallah basically means ‘Godwilling’, genuine, earnest hope that the family is reunited.

I wonder if anything is going on anywhere in the Muslim world where a story about a family being able to reunite would be a resonant and uplifting story.

Again, there’s nothing inherently forbidden about … non Muslims existing, and not particularly following all the rules that apply to Muslims… in the view of the vast majority of Muslims.

Most of the people in this thread are being bigotted by way of presumably ignorance.

And I’m a kafir, a dhimmi, an Atheist, who just likes to learn about different cultures and religions.
