She asked him about his controversies instead of pandering and throwing easy questions. Every reporter or interviewer who has ever had the misfortune to have to interview him has been met with hostility for asking “difficult” questions. If you’re not praising him, you’re a horrible liar out to hurt his “stunning” reputation.
I mean, in this case in particular, she simply read him the shooter’s manifesto and asked him what he thought about it. Trump’s knee-jerk reaction is to defend himself because he’s committed so many bad acts.

If you challenge him in any way, especially on his most shameful misdeeds, he sees you as attacking him viciously.
