It’s as Canadian as any publicly traded company of that size can be. RBI is TSX listed and Toronto headquartered. 3G capital (the “Brazilians” people are referring to when they say that it’s Brazilian owned) while still the largest single shareholder, is down to a 26% stake.

Nope. 3G, the brazillian part of RBI, is the ones who bought Burger King before merging with Tim Hortons.

I still fondly remember Robin’s Donuts. There aren’t any around me anymore.

        So did Dunkin.

Now they all sell old mushy donuts that are made hours before you can buy them at a central location.

I miss old Dunkin. If you walk into a donut shop and it doesn’t smell like donuts, turn around and leave.

Hardly anyone goes in there for donuts though. It’s all caffeine and breakfast sandwiches, with an occasional donut for the weak willed.

Why do you think they dropped donuts from their name?
