    I only very briefly skimmed the thread on reddit but it looks like some of these claims were dialled back a bit.

    To the surprise of no one we can conclude that the sub, and reddit generally, are full of bots spreading disinfo.

    We can assume that the volume and extent is greater than most people would realise, but actually pinning that down with hard evidence is complicated and nuanced.

      But how are you drawing that conclusion? I read the thread in depth and it makes a strong case. It would not surprise me at all to learn that it was true, but I haven’t been able to find where it was confirmed.

        Sorry chief i have better things to do than try to find evidence of the extent to which reddit is influenced by bots and disinformation.

        Confirmed by whom? Go ahead and keep waiting for that press release from Reddit about how their site is full of bots and spam…
